Isis was our first Malamute puppy - and very nearly our last!!
She has a quietly dominant nature which she uses to good effect on the rest of the canines in the household, one look from Isis will have them scuttlling away!
In September 2000 Isis attended the AMCUK Open show judged by Steve Hall were she took MPB, PB and BPIS!!
At Crufts 2002 Pat Philips awarded Isis 1st in LB, BB and then BOS.......what a fantastic result for our first show dog!!
At the AMCUK Championship Show in September 2008 Isis gave us yet another thrilling day at a show!! She won the Veteran Bitch class, then Reserve Best Bitch giving her a RCC, Best Veteran in show and topped it all with Reserve Best in Show!!!
Isis age 6 months
Isis has also run in harness with Vega and several of her relatives until a few joint problems made serious training for rallies a little uncomfortable. Now in her veteran years she will run a few rallies with Vega.
Isis is a very important member of the household...........at least that's what she would tell you!!!
She was our first clicker trained dog and obtained her Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award at the tender age of 171/2 weeks old!! She also has the Silver & Gold Awards.
Isis enjoys agility too, particulary displays at fetes or fundays were she can howl from the top of the A-Frame to the crowd - what a show off!!
Although not a natural retriever Isis did take part in a Flyball team with the Norfolk Nomads!!
Keeping a watchful eye on hot air balloons!!!
